It doesn’t matter if you’re looking to make your first sweater or are a seasoned vet when it comes to stitching up garments. This month’s class, taught by Annette Corsino Blair, will remind you why you love crochet. Pick up your hook and get ready to make this exciting Colorblock Sweater. The pattern is fun and you’ll pick up some skills along the way!
This colorblock sweater pattern will keep experienced crocheters on their toes. Don’t worry if you haven’t made a sweater before though! The stitches are really easy to get the hang of. Annette will teach you the easy way to shape the shoulders and neckline. And she’ll teach you how to go directly into the side of your sweater and stitch the sleeves out. The sweater uses three colors, so you’ll also get to practice your color changes. There are so many important and fun skills Annette teaches in this class. One of my favorite is a unique technique to crochet ribbing. Annette says it’s more precise than crocheting the ribbing separately. You’ll have to try it for yourself. You’ll be really surprised by how quickly this beautiful sweater comes together. It’s a great project to take on that I think you’ll love.
