Mitered Square Blanket Knit Class

Class Description

Looking for a fun project that can go with you this summer? Mitered squares are so much fun to make and travel well! You work piece by piece, until you have enough squares and strips to form a whole blanket. No heavy knitting bags to take on the plane, train, or wherever you like to knit!

This blanket allows you to make lots of mitered squares to create your own designed blanket. Use two colors to make a checkerboard blanket, use scrap yarn and make a colorful blanket, or you can even make this blanket out of a solid color and the mitered squares will still show! This is a fully customizable project that you can make in any size you desire. Join Krista Ann as she teaches you how to do a long tail cast on, a special decrease, and how to switch colors when making strips. She’ll even go over a few methods for stitching your work together in this class.
